We have updated our deposit policy for all puppies.
- Puppy Deposit: $500 for all puppies, regardless of breed or sex.
- Full AKC Registration Deposit: $700.
We have worked hard to keep our deposit amounts as low as possible. However, due to an increase in families placing deposits and later deciding not to follow through with their commitment, we have found it necessary to increase our deposit amounts.
Our hope is that a larger initial investment reflects a serious commitment and helps ensure that families are fully prepared before reserving a puppy. This allows us to better serve committed families while minimizing disruptions for our puppies and the other families waiting to welcome one into their home.
Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the time, care, and dedication that goes into responsibly raising each of our puppies.
We do not use ground transportation for our puppies. While we understand it is often a more budget-friendly option, we believe it can increase unnecessary health risks.
Ground transporters frequently pick up puppies from multiple breeders during the same trip, which increases the potential for exposure to contagious diseases. Puppies may also be placed on the ground at rest stops or other locations where unfamiliar dogs have been, creating additional risk.
There is also the simple reality that during long trips, one transporter may be caring for several puppies at once, making it difficult to provide each puppy with the individualized attention we feel they deserve.
Instead, we offer several transportation options:
- A trusted flight nanny who personally accompanies your puppy in the cabin throughout the journey.
- You are welcome to drive and we can meet you partway to help shorten your trip.
- You may also fly into either Tulsa International Airport (TUL) or Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA), where we can arrange to meet you.
Our priority is ensuring every puppy arrives safely, comfortably, and with the least possible exposure to illness.

We’re happy to announce that we will continue breeding Cavatzus!
We had previously announced that we would no longer be breeding Cavatzus. After receiving so many texts, emails, and messages from families who were disappointed by that decision, we realized just how much these special little dogs are loved and how difficult to find.
We listened, and we heard you!
We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of our families and truly value your support and feedback. Thank you to everyone who took the time to reach out and share your thoughts. Your kindness and enthusiasm helped us make this decision.
Cavatzus truly are wonderful little dogs, and we’re excited to continue bringing these loving companions to deserving families for years to come!

Another Exciting Announcement!
We are thrilled to announce that we now have a flight nanny who works exclusively with Rocky Oak!
She has done a phenomenal job caring for our puppies during their journeys to their new families. She is reliable, dependable, courteous, and kind, and we feel truly blessed to have found someone who treats our puppies with the same love and care that we do.
Her rates are very reasonable for the personalized service and peace of mind she provides.
If you’re out of state and are unable—or simply prefer not—to travel to pick up your new family member, we’d be happy to connect you with her. Just let us know, and we’ll provide her contact information so you can discuss travel arrangements directly.
Because getting your puppy home safely and comfortably is just as important to us as finding them the perfect family.
We are saddened to announce that we will no longer be placing dogs with new breeders. We are incredibly grateful for the relationships we have built over the years and appreciate the trust so many have placed in us.
